Teacher / Academy information may include:
• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Academy name
• Password in hashed form
• Preferred language
Student information entered by teachers may include:
• Student name
• Parent or guardian contact number
• Course information
• Attendance
• Lesson progress
• Test results
• Fee paid/unpaid status
We may also collect basic login, browser, device and security information required to operate the service.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
• Create and manage accounts.
• Provide attendance and progress tracking.
• Manage tests, results and fee records.
• Generate reports.
• Maintain security.
• Prevent misuse.
• Provide account and subscription notices.
• Provide customer support.
We do not sell personal data.
We do not use student information for advertising.
3. Data Access & Isolation
Teachers and academies can access only data associated with their authorized academy/account.
Different academies cannot access each other's student records.
The TaleemDiary App Admin is designed to access only business-level information required for:
• Account management
• Support
• Subscription management
• Platform statistics
The App Admin is not intended to access individual student attendance, lesson progress, test results or fee records.
4. Payments
Paid subscriptions may be processed through Razorpay.
TaleemDiary does not store your card number, UPI credentials or bank-account details.
We may receive payment status and subscription-related references required to manage your TaleemDiary subscription.
5. Security
We use reasonable security measures including:
• Password hashing
• HTTPS encrypted connections
• Authentication and access controls
• Secure database practices
• Protection against common database attacks
• Separation between App Admin and student records
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain information only as reasonably necessary to operate TaleemDiary or meet applicable legal, security or accounting requirements.
Users may request account and associated personal-data deletion.
Some information may need to be retained temporarily where required by law or for backup, security or accounting purposes.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request:
• Access to your personal information.
• Correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion of eligible personal information.
• Withdrawal of consent where applicable.
• Grievance redressal regarding your information.
8. Children's Information
TaleemDiary is designed for adult teachers and academy administrators.
Students do not create accounts or directly log into TaleemDiary.
Student information is entered and managed by teachers or academies for educational record-management purposes.
Teachers and academies are responsible for obtaining any parent or guardian permission required under applicable law before entering a child's personal information.
9. Cookies & Local Storage
As a Progressive Web App, TaleemDiary may use cookies or local device storage for essential functions such as:
• Login sessions
• Security
• Language preferences
TaleemDiary does not use student information for third-party advertising.
